Health and Dental insurance open enrollment time is here! This is the one time of year that you are eligible to join one of our insurance plans or to change your current plan. The active employee premium rates for the 2018-2019 plan year are listed below.If you are currently enrolled in one of the health insurance plans listed below, and do NOT wish to make any changes, your coverage will continue automatically. If you are not currently covered under our health plan, you can visit our website for an enrollment form. The deadline for enrollments and changes will be Friday, June 8, 2018 with an effective date of coverage of July 1, 2018.
There are no plan design changes to our Network Blue HMO or Blue Care Elect PPO plans this year, and the deductibles and copays will remain the same. However, at this time the, the continuance of the UltraBeneifts HRA reimbursement plan is currently unknown. I will be back in touch with you in June to inform you if there is any carry-over funds that will be available for the FY19 plan year (July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019)
For FY19, the Town will also continue to offer dental coverage through BCBS/Dental Blue. As with our health insurance plans, there are no plan design changes to dental. If you wish to add dental coverage, please visit our website for an enrollment form. Again, the deadline for enrollment is Friday, June 1st.
Finally, the Town will continue to offer the Health Insurance Opt-Out program. More information is below or can be found on the website, along with all related health and dental insurance information and enrollment forms.
